1. Data Collection:

An anonymized string (hash) from your email is sent to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it, and your profile picture becomes visible after your comment is approved.

• Media: Visitors should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS), as others can download and extract this data.

2. Cookies:

• Commenters: Cookies save your name, email, and website for one year for convenience when leaving future comments.

• Login: Temporary cookies are set upon visiting the login page. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for one year. Selecting “Remember Me” keeps your login active for two weeks.

• Article Edits: An extra cookie is saved when you edit or publish an article, which expires after one day and contains no personal data, only the article ID.

3. Embedded Content:

• Articles may contain embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles) from other websites. This content behaves as if you have visited the other website, which may collect data about you, use cookies, and monitor your interaction.

5. User Rights:

• You can also request the erasure of any personal data held about you, excluding any data the website is obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
